First it was the hot water line, then about a week later there was a cold water leak too. We got some estimates for a whole house repipe and out of all of them, Stefan was the most confident about the layout of our home and he even came out on a Saturday to do the estimate and provided it when we met. His estimate was competitive and he had done work at a condo building we knew about recently and we received positive feedback from the owners. We are so thankful we went with his company. They are a family owned business, all very nice, courteous and were conscientious about protecting all the areas they were working on, with floor coverings and plastic to help contain the dust. They came when they said they would and worked very hard late into the night for us. We always had running hot water every night too and they cleaned up before leaving. They treated our home as if it were their own. We have a shower on one side and a bathtub on the other, both plumbing fixtures sharing a wall. We were concerned they might have to go into the tiles, but they were able to repipe keeping all the tile and plumbing fixtures intact. This was an expensive and stressful couple of weeks for us, having both hits, but we were so pleased with their quality of work and careful attention to detail. They left us as if they were never even there! Also, the city inspection was scheduled immediately after the copper lines were installed and there was no delay in between the drywall repair. This is an exceptional family plumbing company that does professional and beautiful work. Stefan (Dad), Simeon/Simon (Son), and team replumbed our townhome in 3 days and including pulling permit, inspection and final sign off. This was a 100% replumb versus a "complete" replumb which I have seen evidence of wherein a section of old pipe is not replaced because it's too difficult to reroute. It's either a true 100% replumb, or it's not. The home is three levels and the job was challenging in several areas. Dealing with HOAs can be an issue and this team was able to route the piping in creative and complex ways to avoid any stucco removal. While that may not always be possible it was clear they will go the extra mile to try and meet customer hope and desire if it's possible. The quality of the work from piping route analysis and design, drywall removal, plumbing craftsmanship and material (Type L copper in this case with true sweating/solder fittings), drywall patch and texture match was/is fantastic. The job also included replacement of the water heater. In addition, the team was respectful and remarkably prompt in all interactions and communications as well as respectful of the home. They covered everything, and cleaned during work and as part of job completion. When the piping for our shower suddenly failed from corrosion, we looked for a plumber who could come on short notice. The first couple I called got an office person who offered to schedule on another day. When I called Repipe Home Hero, Stefan answered the call himself (tho he was already on another job). He listened courtesly and offered to come in a few hours when he was done with his current job. He was at our house in 3 hours and had only needed an hour or so to open the wall, install new piping, and patch it up as good as new. They also replaced 2 bathroom sink fixtures. Unexpectedly, there was an extremely corroded pipe that had to be replaced and Simeon gave me a good price for replacing the pipe along with covering up the hole in the wall once the repair was done. He also did this for the hole left by other repair men under my kitchen sink without extra charge. He also replaced a tub overflow cover that was also corroded, no extra charge. Recently, I hired Repipe Home Hero to repipe a four-unit apartment building after encountering several slab leaks within a short period of time. I’m very glad I chose this small, family-run business—they did excellent work from start to finish. From the initial estimate, Stefan and his team were courteous and professional, walking through each tenant’s unit and clearly explaining the process. One big bonus is that they patch walls themselves, which many plumbing companies subcontract out. Stefan, his sons, and their helpers are a close-knit group who clearly share the same values. Stefan is humble, honest, and never tried to upsell unnecessary work like many larger companies do. While price shouldn’t be the only factor when choosing a contractor, they offer very fair pricing and actually deliver high-quality work—something that’s rare these days. They built plastic sheet enclosures around every wall they cut and vacuumed during demolition to keep dust to a minimum. The piping was well laid out and properly strapped, just as it should be. The copper solder joints were clean, and the acid was wiped afterward—details that show true craftsmanship. I’m very hands-on with repairs and work with many different trades, and I can honestly say these guys are top-notch craftsmen who take pride in their work. They are honest, reliable, courteous, and they clean up thoroughly after themselves. We went with copper piping, and the finished work looks exactly like the photos in their reviews—clean, organized, and professionally done.
