Rancho Bernardo Plumbing: What Homeowners Face Here
1970s–1980s homes
Bernardo Heights & West Bernardo
Galvanized steel supply lines that have exceeded their useful life. Corrode from the inside out causing rust-colored water, low pressure, and recurring leaks.
1990s–2000s homes
4S Ranch & Sabre Springs
L-type copper still performing well in most cases. Some properties may have polybutylene pipes — a material known to fail that is no longer considered safe long-term.
Newer construction
Del Sur & Santaluz
PEX supply systems performing well. Common calls are fixture upgrades, aging water heater replacement, and water filtration additions to new pipe systems.

EXCELLENTTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn't be happier with the work Repipe Home Hero did! I had a leaking hot water pipe, and they came out, rerouted the pipe, and completed the entire repair in just one day. They even sheetrocked, taped, and textured everything so the area looked completely finished when they were done. They were on time, very polite, honest, clean, and extremely efficient. The price was also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provided. I would absolutely recommend Repipe Home Hero to anyone who needs this type of work. I wouldn't look anywhere else, and I would hire them again without a doubt. Thank you Simeon and crew for the excellent service!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Repipe hero installed a new water heater and repaired a drain line inside a wall. The work was clean, professional, and done right the first time. They show up when they say they will, move fast, and finish on schedule. Communication was easy the whole way through.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot recommend Repipe Home Hero enough for a total home repiping. They did a great job answering all of our questions, taking care in how they treated our home, minimizing the impact of a major plumbing job, and leaving us with walls that match the original texturing. For our home, they got this all done in 4 days! We got a number of quotes and their pricing was more than fair.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Simeon, Stephan, and crew were nothing short of fantastic. They worked hard to complete our whole house repiping with minimal downtime. We debated hiring a trusted plumber but decided to go with experts. Would highly recommend!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Simeon is the best. Attention to detail and always high quality work. He even fixed a broken piece on our staircase.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We needed Repipe Home Hero (RHH) on 2 occasions; once to install an appliance that we purchased and once for plumbing repairs. Simeon Mirkov was our technician on both occasions. Simeon’s experience and problem solving ability are top notch. He also has a great personality. He cleans up meticulously after the job is done and pricing is reasonable. We highly recommend Simeon Mirkov and Repipe Home Hero Plumbing and Repair for installations and repairs. Charles Davis San DiegoPosted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience from start to finish. They came out, quickly assessed the problem, completed the repair professionally and efficiently, and were friendly and easy to work with throughout. After a frustrating situation, it was a huge relief to have someone show up, communicate clearly, and get the job done right. Highly recommend.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They did a good job repairing 2 swimming pool return line leaks in our ancient copper piping for a decent price. We were in a pinch and they came the very next day.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Diagnosed leak and stayed late to get everything fixed.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can echo all of the great things that have been said about Repipe Home Hero. Having recently had a couple of pinhole leaks and seeing extensive corrosion on all visible copper joint fittings (i.e., future pinhole leaks were inevitable), we made the decision to do a full copper (Type L) repipe of our 30 year old home. In addition, we decided to add a whole house water filter system as well. From start to finish, Stefan Sr and team inspired confidence that we were in great hands for our project. They are true professionals and work together as a tight team to carry out an overall plan that ensures the work is completed on-time and on budget. They spend a lot of time upfront on preparation activities (identifying how pipe will be run, where dry wall holes will be cut, putting down drop clothes on floors, installing plastic to protect cabinets, etc.) and do a thorough cleanup at the end of each day. A big factor in my selection of them was the fact that they are a small, local, family run business, where the same, highly skilled team, performs all of their repiping work. And that work includes the excellent drywall repair and texture matching that other reviewers have commented on - we cannot tell where any of the drywall holes were made. Customer satisfaction is clearly a major focus of Repipe Home Hero. A big thank you to Stefan Sr, Simeon, Stefan Jr, Slava and Roman.
